My Dad died yesterday, so I am going to take some time off from blogging for a while…

Thank you so much for reading my posts!

Another New Year!

Dear readers,

How is 2020 going for you so far? Are you feeling like you need yet another fresh start? Well, today is your chance! It is the New Moon and the start of the Chinese New Year of the Rat!

In the Chinese zodiac there are twelve animal signs, and the Rat is the first, so this year is all about new beginnings, and there should be a lot of creative energies for accomplishing your goals!

In my last post (“Maintaining a Balance”) I shared that I was going to take a few days off from blogging in order to re-read the books I published last year… Well, that same day my Dad went into the hospital and he ended up having double bypass heart surgery on Thursday, so I’ve taken a longer vacay from the blog than I expected to… and I didn’t even write a StarFire Friday Blessing post… so please consider my Chinese New Year wishes as my StarFire Blessings for you this week!

In China, to wish someone a happy new year they say “Gung Hay Fat Choy” which literally means “Wishing you great happiness and prosperity.”

Happy New Year of the Rat 2020 to you and your loved ones!
May the Force of Good Luck be with you!
May you be happy and healthy! 🙂

With much love,
StarFire Teja

Maintaining a Balance

The Buddha refused the kingship in order to dive deeply into the nature of suffering. He did that because he felt driven to help others become free of suffering.

It all comes down to desires, expectations, and attachments causing suffering.

It sounds so simple in theory, but it is not in our human nature to just suddenly decide to let go of desires, expectations, and attachments.

So, what is the answer to this complex riddle called the human condition?

My answer is we have to do our best to maintain a balance between awareness of suffering (in ourselves, in others, and in the world), and creation of fun… We don’t have to go searching for suffering because it is all around us, so what we have to do is continually strive to happy up, to have fun, to get creative, and to do whatever it takes to feel inspired, juicy, and alive!

Are you having any fun lately? Do you feel sparked by the life force within you? Are you keeping a sense of humor in the midst of your challenges?

In 2020 (as per usual), I am feeling most inspired and juiced up by writing and reading… To that end, I’m going to take a few days off from blogging in order to re-read the books I published last year… If you also get inspired through reading, and you haven’t ordered my books yet, they are available on Lulu and Amazon!

(By the way, I make almost seven times as much on Lulu, as compared to Amazon, but I’m super grateful for all sales anywhere!)

Dear reader, thank you for reading this post!
I hope you have a great week… 🙂

May the Force of All Light be with you!

With happy high vibes,
StarFire Teja

StarFire Sci-Fi Saturday

When the spiritual meets the science fiction, that fusion really lights up my brain. Can you relate?

Do you ever sense the presence of other beings like angels or divine guardians in the energy field surrounding you?

Recently when I was drinking my cuppa black coffee, I felt as if there were about ten little elf-like beings dancing around my head, neck, and shoulders. Those little sprites were very high vibration love beings, with dark iridescent skin that shimmered with glitter. Some were black, some brown, and some blue. Some had sparkling blue eyes; others had sparkling green eyes. They made merry in my energy field, dancing barefoot and drumming on little drums!

Did I make that up, or did I tune in and discover some “real” beings who popped into my dimensional reality when they vibed the coffee magic in my aura?

In a post last Spring, “Which Tribe Do You Belong To?” I wrote:

“I imagine that the Blue Tribes consist of very high vibration love beings, like Shiva or Vishnu or Rama (aspects of Divinity in the Hindu tradition), who all just happen to be blue! Call me a dreamer, but I would much rather belong to a race of Blue Light Beings than to the human race. Lately I just really cannot relate to what is happening on this sacred planet Earth. For example, I cannot relate to all the divisions of states and countries. In reality, we are all interconnected in one web of energy, and that energy is Love! So all these divisions do not make any sense to me at all. For me it goes much further than “#notmypresident” (although that is true)… For me, so much of what the humans are doing is absurd and painful to watch. Daily spiritual practices are more important to me now than ever before. They help to keep me connected to what I know is the real reality…. I belong to the StarFire Blue Tribes of the highest love vibrations. Which Tribe Do You Belong To?”

Dear reader, does anything in this post light up your brain?

With love and some fantastical fire,
StarFire Teja
