Grab the Wheel of Your Mind!

Dear readers, do you ever have dreams in which your car is going up or down a very steep hill?

Last night I dreamt that this exact same scene played out three times: I was in a car that was driving itself backwards up a very steep hill, and each time it almost crashed over the edge at the top I jumped into the driver’s seat and calmly drove it back down to safety!

Hmmm, I wonder what that dream means! Haha!

Is anybody else feeling out of control right now?

Are you having any interesting dreams lately?

Today I had a phone session with my psychologist (because “social distancing” prevented an in-office meeting), and she guided me in a wonderful hypnotherapy experience in which I turned down the levers that control anxiety and worry… and I turned up the levers for inner wisdom and inner courage.

My dear ones, may you take control over the only thing you can control: your mind! Through peaceful meditation, relax into your inner being and access your inner resources… Then grab the wheel of your mind, and drive yourself down to safety!

May you be calm, wise, and courageous during these uncertain times.

With a grateful and brave heart,

Spiritual Helper 101 = Tips for Being a Good Friend

As a spiritual helper, I really want to be helpful, so it is important to me that I avoid doing anything that might harm rather than help. However, I am not a saint, and despite my good intentions I sometimes make mistakes.

A few things happened recently that served as good reminders for me as a spiritual helper. I am sharing these reminders with you because they are also basic reminders for being a good friend ~

~ Do not give advice, even if they ask for advice. Instead, keep asking questions and guide them to find their own answers.

~ Do not give opinions or judgments. Instead, suggest that they sit quietly in meditation and listen for their own inner wisdom.

~ After listening and guiding them to find their own insights, you can ask if they would like any suggestions, such as ideas or practices that might help. If they say yes, you can share suggestions, and then ask if those ideas resonate with them.

Do these reminders resonate with you?

Thank you for reading this blog. I really hope the posts are helpful to you!

May All Beings Know Deep Peace.
