Ancient Tale of Ramayana Helps in Times of Grief, Anxiety, and Crisis

“The lotus in the heart opens to the Shakti of the Supreme Being.”

~ Teja Shankara, illuminating the benefits of reading The Tejaswini Ramayana: The Way of Rama in the Shakahara StarFire Universes.

Dear readers, this morning I completed a two-month review of the Ramayana, studying all of the notes I’ve taken on many versions, including my own version (published last year)…

The Ramayana is an ancient tale from India that is very helpful to study in times of grief, anxiety, and crisis.

While re-reading my version today, I became inspired to share the entire Epilogue with you here, with the hope that it will elevate your minds! Please enjoy…

Epilogue of The Tejaswini Ramayana: The Way of Rama in the Shakahara StarFire Universes, by Teja Shankara

As this Ramayana began, the situation on planet Earth had reached crisis proportions. The waters and air were polluted, the animals were dying off, and the Earth itself was sending off many warning signals in the forms of increased winds, raging fires, and devastating storms. The dark forces were taking over the very atmosphere, and the creatures were beginning to starve on many levels.

In that stark state of affairs, so many sins had been created as a result of the wounded human minds, that if all of those negative karmas had come back in reaction to all of the evil actions already committed, it would have been too much darkness for the earthly sphere to bear. Thus, with the human race teetering on the brink of total self-destruction, the Elevations were required to wipe the karmic slates clean before it was too late.

The great Vedic scholar and saint, Adi Shankara, stated that when a human being is elevated to the state of union with Brahman, he or she is then freed from the law of karma. That is what occurred after the Elevations reached eight billion humans complete. A Radiant Golden Clean Slate shimmered for all human beings.

It is Tejaswini’s intention that this version be made into a major film that elevates many beings. May the Radiant Supreme Reality heal us all. May the high vibration extraterrestrial energies shine the Golden Fire of Spiritual Radiance into us all.

Some past Ramayanas, such as the literary masterpiece, Shri Ramacharitamanasa, by Sri Tulasidasa, contained a plethora of gorgeous similes and soul-stirring descriptions of the beauty of nature, in lengthy narratives exceeding seven hundred pages. Tejaswini intentionally kept this version much shorter in order to keep the storyline moving at a faster pace for the busy modern reader.

The benefits of reading this book are many: Elevation to the Highest Love State; Activation of Cosmic Shakahara StarFire Radiant Healing Consciousness; and Awakening of qualities such as Hope, Inspiration, Innovation, and Creativity. As these beautiful positive energies arise, quite naturally there occurs a reduction of fear, anger, and sadness. The lotus in the heart opens to the Shakti of the Supreme Being.

The Magnitude of that Maha~Vishnu Force blows the mind because simultaneously that Force exists in Vaikunta, and is manifesting on Earth as Avatars, AND is living in the hearts of all creatures. Who can understand the Incredible Magnitude of the Holy Blue Force?

In days of old, in earlier times when the Ramayana played out, Rama hid inside the hearts of all human beings, and the humans could only realize that divinity in their hearts by a long slow process of purifying their minds. But in this version, the human minds had become too dense and so the old methods would have been too slow to save the planet. This time the human minds needed to be elevated much more quickly. Thus Lord Shiva planted this question in the mind of Tejaswini: If every human being was suddenly spiritually elevated to the Highest Love Vibrations, what would life on this sacred Earth be like?

In ancient times they foresaw the ruin of this dark iron age, but we do not have to ruin our planet and our human race. With or without a massive intervention by blue beings from outer space, using innovation and elevation we can make life on Earth a happy experience for all creatures. We can increase our brain capacities, and we can remember our full range of mental powers.

Sant (Saint) Keshavadas wrote, “The future religion of the world will be mysticism. Its scriptures will be based upon the teachings and lives of saints of all world religions.” (From his Introduction to the book Saints of India, published by Temple of Cosmic Religion, 1975.) In every land, the saints ever work for the Good of all beings.

Many people believe that the battle between good and evil will continue for all time. They say that the endless war between the light and the dark is the very nature of the cosmos itself. As elevated human beings, we have the power to stop feeding that outdated negative belief, and to join the saints in working toward a world of Goodness.

Some people may question whether or not these Elevations are possible. Tejaswini says that because they have been thought of, that means they are possible.

Yes, human nature CAN BE ELEVATED. It is time to heal human nature so that we can all exist in the Highest Love Vibration. We inherently contain the power to re-wire our brains. We can heal the wounded brain regions that prevent us from remembering our divine heritage.

In past Ramayanas, none could escape the workings of destiny~karma~fate, but in this version, Maha~Vishnu’s Avatars, Sita and Rama, used innovative techniques to uplift universal laws for achieving the Elevation of All Beings.

In other Ramayanas, the protectors of the worlds took human birth as Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, and the other incarnations, in order to destroy the tribe of rakshasas, but in this version, they beamed into human forms to Elevate the tribe. As Rama explained to the Elevating Force, the mission this time was about elevating the wounded rather than killing the wicked. Thus they endeavored to destroy the egos of the wounded beings, rather than harming their physical bodies.

We are all One Love Energy in many forms. We all came from the Stars. Aligning in a Shakahara StarFire Tribe with the Lord, we can share One Fate, a fate that is the Oneness of all beings living together in Peace and Joy.

Throughout the ages, Sita symbolized the human soul kidnapped by the demon Ravana who represented the human ego. With the help of Hanuman, the breath, Sita called out in prayer to Rama (God) who then freed her from captivity by destroying the demon king.

In this version, Sita symbolized the entire human race which was held captive by the demon Ravana who represented all the sins of the dark age of materialism. Sita (the human race) could not truly be saved by the mode of violence. True Freedom for Sita (the human race) could only come by the Force of Light overpowering the dark demon of materialism and its harmful effects, including greed, competition, domination, and starvation. Ever chanting the Name of Rama, Sita called in the Light.

That Force of Light — call it God, Goddess, Rama, Sita, Shiva, Shakti, Durga, Allah, Yahweh, Mary, Jesus, Truth, Guru, Buddha, Jah, Gaia, Great Spirit, Great Mystery, Brahman, Supreme Being — That Force is Beyond all human conceptions and images of It. That Light is extra-terrestrial, and in this Ramayana, It was most definitely Blue!

Endlessly working to spread the Goodness of that Light Force, Sri Hanuman is still ever-present everywhere. He appears anytime Rama’s story is told and anytime the Hanuman Chalisa is sung. Granting strength, positive energy, wisdom, and courage, Hanuman removes fears, diseases, and sorrows. Visualizing him high in the pine trees, ringing his bells, and singing Sita~Rama, brings great happiness to the mind.

This ends the fascinating tale of The Tejaswini Ramayana.

With a hopeful mind, I, Tejaswini, bow to that Force of Light embodied in Rama and Sita. And I pray that each reader, regardless of his or her religion or belief system, has received a transmission of the Elevated State that is experienced by Ramabhaktas and Shivabhaktas when they are deeply immersed in worshipping the resplendent glory of Hari and Hara.

May All Beings Be Elevated to the Highest Love State.

Om Namah Shivaya. Jaya Sita~Rama, Jaya Jaya Hanuman!!!

~ Shri Rama Jaya Rama Jaya Jaya Rama ~

Bolo Rama Sita Hanuman Shiva!

With great love and enduring hope,

The Last Book

In my post on January 19th (“Maintaining a Balance”) I shared that I was going to take a few days off from blogging in order to re-read the books I published last year… Well, that same day my Dad went into the hospital, and later that week he had double bypass heart surgery which he did not recover from, and he died on January 25th.

During the week that my Dad was in the hospital, I had already finished re-reading my book, Reaching for Orange: Practices, Visualizations, & Blessings to Help You Happy Up Your Life, so I was re-reading my book, The Tejaswini Ramayana: The Way of Rama in the Shakahara StarFire Universes.

The week prior to that, I had written the following in my journal: “It appears that once again I have failed, because my books haven’t sold and the blog hasn’t gotten a big following… It appears as failure on the outside, but on the inside it feels like success because I really LOVE both books so much, and I really LOVE the blog so much! ~ When I re-read the two books and the 270+ blog posts, I feel so pleased and so proud of my work… My work isn’t successful externally/financially for many possible reasons: my health issues; my inability to effectively promote (“Realizing (Again) That I Am Not a Salesperson!”); karma; destiny; fate; astrology; and/or I am too fringe and/or too spiritual for this worldly realm… “It’s Whatever.” ~ My work is very successful and satisfying internally! Om Namah Shivaya, Jai Sri Rama!”

So, while my Dad was in the hospital, I once again really loved reading The Tejaswini Ramayana, and I visualized many people being elevated by watching it as a major film like Avatar

Then my Dad died… and the day after he died, my Mom told me that he had taken my book, The Tejaswini Ramayana: The Way of Rama in the Shakahara StarFire Universes, with him to the hospital… So, he and I were both reading The Tejaswini Ramayana during the last week of his life, but neither one of us knew that the other was reading the same book at the same time!

It was actually my Dad’s third time to read The Tejaswini Ramayana, because first he proofread the original copy prior to publication, then secondly he read the published book in order to write a review… Well, after he spent many hours writing a review on Amazon, it wouldn’t save and he lost all that he had written… And then the months of busy living flew by…

So, my Mom said that in December he was planning to read it for the third time in order to surprise me with a written review for Christmas… But he didn’t get around to doing it, so he was planning to write the surprise review for my 50th Birthday, which was on January 29th… So that’s why he had taken the book with him to the hospital on January 19th… And he finished reading the book that week, but he didn’t have time to start writing the review…

So! After a lifetime of being an avid reader and researcher, the last book my Dad read on this Earth was my book, The Tejaswini Ramayana. I am so stunned by that, and tears are blurring my eyes as I type this post…

As he read the book, he told my Mom, “She is a good writer,” and he made comments about what was happening in the fantastical story, such as “The blue beings are coming!” My Mom said he really enjoyed reading it, and I can tell the truth of that by reading his marked-up copy…

Last week I really loved reading his copy and seeing what he had underlined. I especially appreciated seeing all the comments and smiley faces and other doodles he had made in the margins! What a blessing, what a gift, for me to have his copy of my book!

The Tejaswini Ramayana is based on the ancient epic story from India, which I had been studying for nearly fifteen years… My version is quite fantastical, and my Dad was more of a realist, so a lot of his written comments questioned my “fantasy-based philosophy”… While reading his marked-up copy I enjoyed talking to my Dad and explaining my cosmic beliefs to him! It was the only spiritual connection I have felt with him in these long three weeks since he died… I am so very grateful for that little spark of magic during this difficult time.

I am pretty sure that Reaching for Orange is the last book I will publish… I am not sure what the future holds for me, but for now I still feel that my purpose is to be a happy spiritual helper shining the light through writing blog posts…

Thank you so much for reading this post.

May you be blessed in every way, every day.

I love you all,
StarFire Teja

Create and Live Your Unique Biography

Have you ever written a biography for yourself? It is such an interesting exercise!

It is so beautiful to be unique… to be yourself fully… to stand out in a crowd…

At the end of her book On Death and Dying, Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, M.D., writes that most of us “create and live a unique biography and weave ourselves into the fabric of human history.”

I recently wrote a biography, and I will share mine here below to give you a guide for writing your own. The goal in this exercise is not to write a book, but rather to keep your biography to about one-half to two-thirds of a page.

I think it is fun and interesting to read other people’s biographies, so after you write your biography, feel free to share it down below in the comments where it says “Leave a Reply,” or send it to me through the Contact tab up in the right corner of this blog.

I hope you enjoy creating and living your unique biography!

Biography of Teja Shankara, author of The Tejaswini Ramayana: The Way of Rama in the Shakahara StarFire Universes

Teja Shankara is a blogger, author, and spiritual helper who leads interfaith healing circles and cares for the dying and their families. With a smile that lights up the room, she shines with the radiance of one who does daily spiritual practices.

During her last semester as a Political Science major at Butler University, she found her true passion in an Anthropology class called “Religion and Ritual Around the World.” Religious studies captured her heart and mind, as she had loved all things spiritual since she was a young girl mesmerized by the colorful stained glass windows and heady incense of her Indiana family’s Catholic church.

After graduating cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish (1992), she worked at universities in international programs, and continued to study religions, including Judaism, Native American, and others. Then, during many years of being an at-home mom in Oregon, she trained as a labor doula, childbirth educator, lactation counselor, postpartum doula, energy healer, caregiver, meditation instructor, medical assistant, hypnotherapist, and facilitator of prison groups. During those years she discovered the Raja Yoga Path of Hinduism and began leading healing circles in which she shares do-able spiritual practices with people of all religions and other cosmic belief systems.

Sister Teja, a self-proclaimed nun forging her own Shakahara StarFire Tribe, is on fire with a mission to help elevate the human species to the Highest Love Vibrations. As “StarFire Teja” she feels most passionate about writing blog articles that really help people to Happy Up their lives.

She Happys Up her own life through daily spiritual practices, including chanting (sacred singing), meditating, studying the Ramayana, cultivating Gratitude, and visualizing with guided imagery techniques. She is a Mama of two bright amazing young men, and a barefoot nature lover who loves the Sun, orange marigolds, sunflowers, red roses, trees, birds, stars, red rocks, hot black coffee (organic, fair trade, dark roast!), pinecones, and amethyst crystals.

At age 49, Sister Teja has returned to her Indiana roots, where she enjoys high vibration plant-based living with her parents. She writes daily in her tree-house temple overlooking a green yard filled with birds, squirrels, and wild brown rabbits. For more information, please visit starfireteja.wordpress.com.

How’s It Going With Your 2019 Goals?

Setting goals is good, but sometimes it can be a set-up for terrible heartbreak, especially if the goals were set too high.

For example, one of my goals this year was to sell 1,809 books by March 31st, which was set too high given the reality that I had no publicist and no budget. Even though I knew it was what some call a “stretch goal,” I’m still feeling a tad sad about it, so I am grateful that I have many tools for working skillfully with difficult emotions.

Are you feeling sad about any of your goals not panning out? If so, you might benefit from using my two best tools for working with the sadness of disappointment: Cultivating the Witness and Practicing Gratitude. Both are described in the extensive list of spiritual practices at the beginning of my book, The Tejaswini Ramayana: The Way of Rama in the Shakahara StarFire Universes.

When re-evaluating goals, it is good to remember that many goals are ever-shifting and evolving. While goals give a sense of direction, the path may change many times. And sometimes it ends up being best to abandon the path of a goal altogether and find a new direction.

So, how’s it going with your 2019 goals?

Do You Love Your Enemies?

3 Reasons to Forgive and 5 Inspirations for Forgiveness

Extending love and forgiveness to those who have hurt you will be helpful in three ways:

1. It will heal you by calming your nervous system, relaxing the tension in your muscles, and bringing peace to your mind and heart.

2. It will help to heal the people who you are forgiving.

3. And, it will send the healing vibration of Peace out into the world.

Here are five inspirations for your forgiveness journey:

1. In his book The Third Jesus, Deepak Chopra writes, “When Jesus said that the Kingdom of God is within, he meant within everyone. This would be in keeping with his injunction to love your enemies. The same God is in them as in you.”

2. In his book, Passport to the Cosmos, John E. Mack, MD, shares the story of a woman who has utilized the power of love to counter the dark aspects of her encounters with alien beings. He writes, “When the beings seem to threaten her, she sends out to them “as much love as I can, waves of love.”… It seemed that as she sent positive love energy toward these angry beings, she could hear them shrieking and saw them running, then backing off through the wall… She sent a “last burst of love energy, calling on Jesus and feeling good inside” toward this being.”

3. In her book, Midwife for Souls, Kathy Kalina, a Hospice nurse, writes, “Forgiveness is not a feeling, but an act of the will.”

4. In my book, The Tejaswini Ramayana, the Supreme Being forgives and elevates even the greatest of sinners, which is both an assurance for humanity, and an example for human beings to do the same with their fellow humans.

5. Recently two people put an angry face emoji reaction on one of my Facebook posts about The Tejaswini Ramayana. In order to extend love and forgiveness towards them, I wrote their names on an orange post-it note, and placed it on my spiritual altar with a healing clear crystal on top. Each day after I sing the Hanuman Chalisa and say my daily prayers, I ask Sri Rama to please send them High Vibration Crystal Love Energies. Saying their names out loud, I pray that they may be elevated to the Highest Love Vibrations.

May this article be helpful to you or to someone you know.

May All Beings Know Deep Peace.
